VetSkill certificates over 500 apprentices!

VetSkill is thrilled to have assessed over 500 successful apprentices through our end-point assessment service.

By offering a range of qualifications and end-point assessment services for several centres and training providers across the UK, VetSkill aims to empower and inspire learners to reach their full potential. These 500 apprentices have completed their Level 3 Veterinary Nurse or Level 2 Animal Care and Welfare apprenticeship.

The OSCE end-point assessment in the Level 3 Veterinary Nurse standard is fundamentally tied to the Level 3 RCVS accredited qualifications in Veterinary Nursing. Therefore, when City & Guilds decided to relinquish their veterinary nursing qualification and not provide end-point assessment for the standard, VetSkill provided OSCE assessment. As a result, these learners and apprentices were supported for over 1600 OSCE attempts as well as VetSkill’s own Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Companion Animal & Equine) learners.

Sam Double, VetSkill’s Deputy CEO, said: ‘VetSkill extends its congratulations to all these apprentices and their training providers. It is commendable that this many apprentices could be practically assessed for EPA and achieve their apprenticeship in what has been a difficult time for all due to the pandemic. We wish all VetSkill apprentices luck on beginning their careers in the industry.’

VetSkill looks forward to continuing to deliver high-quality end-point assessments and working towards the next 500 apprentices and certifications.
