Practical Examinations Officer (RVN)

Location: VetSkill Head Office, Huntingdon

Employment Type: Part-Time

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on qualifications and experience.

Are you an RVN with a passion for assessment and quality assurance? Do you have strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail? We are looking for a Practical Examinations Officer to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality veterinary nurse assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up practical examinations

  • Support assessor training and standardisation events

  • Manage practical exam bookings and liaise with candidates, centres, and employers

  • Oversee the contracting and screening of new assessors

  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance within assessment processes

  • Attend practical assessments, including at least six weekends per year

End-Point Assessment Officer (Home-Based)

Location: Home-Based

Hours: Full-Time

Salary: £28,000 to £34,000 depending on skills and experience

We are recruiting an End-Point Assessment Officer to support with the day-to-day delivery of our End-Point Assessment (EPA) portfolio, including coordination of assessments, managing recruitment, training and standardisation activities as well as internal quality assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operational issues to ensure smooth delivery of End-Point Assessment services. It is expected that the applicant will have a positive solution-focused approach when supporting with the continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Applicants should hold a recognised quality assurance qualification and have experience in assessment development or delivery. Experience of working in a regulated environment would be desirable.

Cleaning Operative (Ramsay Court, Huntingdon)

We are currently seeking an evening cleaner for our Head Office in Huntingdon to clean throughout the building. The successful candidate will be committed to providing a cleaning service to the high standards required by VetSkill. Reliability and attention to detail are a must. Ideally, you will have previous cleaning experience.

Hours: 10 hours per week - Monday to Friday – 4:30pm-6:30pm

  • A minimum of 3 years’ working experience in the Animal Care and Welfare sector.

Independent End-Point Assessor: Landscape Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard

Are you looking for a flexible work opportunity and a chance to utilise your technical expertise?

We currently have an exciting opportunity for landscaping professionals with the following occupational/sector experience to join our team of Independent End Point Assessors (IEPAs) for the Landscape Technician apprenticeship standard:

  • Experienced in preparing drawings, documents, graphics and visualisations for landscape schemes, contributing to planning applications and other regulatory procedures, using CAD and other software and preparing detailed specifications for hard and soft landscape materials.

  • Experience in preparing and presenting maps and plans using CAD and GIS and working with other landscape professionals.

  • Experience in undertaking simple site investigations, analysis and appraisals, preparing maintenance and management information, undertaking research, co-ordinating analogue and digital information.

  • Significant experience of the occupation/sector.

  • Applicant must also be a member with relevant professional bodies.

  • Assessment qualification (desirable).
