Animal Focused approved as a new VetSkill centre

VetSkill are thrilled to announce that Animal Focused have joined us as an approved centre, to deliver the VetSkill VTEC Level 3 Certificate in Licensing of Animal Activities.

The VetSkill VTEC Level 3 Certificate in Licensing of Animal Activities is an Ofqual regulated, exclusive qualification delivered and assessed by Animal Focused.  This qualification is designed for learners who are currently working for local authorities where carrying out licensing inspections under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018 is part of their role.

This regulated level 3 qualification meets the legislative requirements for Animal Licensing Officers to be suitably qualified, providing the underpinning knowledge and skills for the licensing of all licensed animal activities in England.

Kiera Lawthers, VetSkill Quality Assurance Officer has worked alongside the centre during the approval process and shares; “It has been a pleasure working with the Animal Focused team to secure their approval as a VetSkill centre for delivery of the new VetSkill VTEC Level 3 Certificate in Licensing of Animal Activities.
