With a new year comes brand new opportunities to boost skills and gain valuable industry knowledge, and one great way to do this is by attending industry events.
In 2024, VetSkill was thrilled to exhibit at community-focused events like BVNA Congress and The College of Animal Welfare (CAW)’s Dog Grooming Congress, which aim to inspire connection and collaboration, and celebrate their respective professions.
We are pleased to share that VetSkill will be exhibiting at and sponsoring several CAW Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events again in 2025. These events are a fantastic chance to earn evidenced CPD, ask questions to industry experts and gain practical takeaways to be implemented in practice.

ECC Congress
New for 2025, ECC Congress is a one-day event exploring ECC (emergency and critical care) nursing in veterinary practice. This congress offers 7 hours of evidenced CPD, with a range of expert industry speakers set to deliver lectures.
Come and find us during the lunch break at our virtual “expo booth”, where we’ll be chatting about our VetSkill VTEC Level 5 Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Emergency and Critical Care).

Head Nurse Congress
Head Nurse Congress is a one-day event solely focused on the roles of head veterinary nurses and practice managers, including the responsibilities and challenges involved, and what it means to manage a team in the veterinary setting. This congress offers 7 hours of evidenced CPD, with a range of expert industry speakers set to deliver lectures.

Dog Grooming Congress
Dog Grooming Congress is a one-day in-person event aimed specifically at dog groomers and trainee dog groomers looking to develop their knowledge and gain new insights and inspiration to take back to the grooming salon.
Join us at our exhibitor stand, where we look forward to chatting about our dog grooming qualifications, connecting with professionals in the industry and giving away freebies.

Clinical Supervisor Congress
Recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) as clinical supervisor standardisation, Clinical Supervisor Congress is a unique conference dedicated purely to supporting clinical supervisors/coaches and those involved in veterinary nurse training, providing up to 7 hours of CPD.
VetSkill will be exclusively sponsoring this event and setting up a virtual “expo booth” during the lunch break. We look forward to talking to delegates about progression routes within the role and for other veterinary professionals within their teams.

Advanced Veterinary Nursing Congress

VCA Congress
VCA Congress is focused solely on roles within the varied veterinary care field, exploring all aspects of the roles from the many different responsibilities to the challenges faced on a daily basis. Attendees will have the chance to gain CPD on a range of topics.
VetSkill will be exclusively sponsoring this event and setting up a virtual “expo booth” during the lunch break. We look forward to chatting with learners taking our VetSkill Level 2 Certificate in Veterinary Care Support qualification and speaking about our Level 3 Veterinary Nursing Diplomas with those interested in progressing onto veterinary nurse training.
